Previously, Charles was a Board Director at an award-winning UK legal recruitment company.
Before moving into legal recruitment Charles was a Solicitor at Eversheds.
Charles is a keen road cyclist and enjoys skiing and running. He is also Chairman and Trustee of a Scout Group.
Justin has worked in professional services recruitment since 1988. In 1992 he co-founded one of the UK’s largest legal recruitment businesses and has significant experience with a wide variety of leading law firms on all aspects of their recruitment, particularly at partner and senior management level.
He has extensive experience in developing and implementing search, advertised selection and employer branding campaigns. He has also run a large number of campaigns for in-house lawyers in commerce and industry.
Justin’s approach is to understand each individual candidate’s unique set of motivations and desires. He then uses his own and his colleagues’ knowledge and extensive contacts to give each candidate a personalised vision of their potential future.

Nathalie has worked in legal recruitment for almost 20 years, across London and the South.
Prior to joining Motus as a Director, she spent many years at one of the UK’s largest legal recruitment companies. Before that, she was a Partner in a law firm.
Nathalie’s experience focuses on developing the careers of lawyers, many of whom she works with through the life of their career, from NQ up to Partner.
She works with a wide variety of firms and has expertise ranging from Property to Clinical Negligence and Healthcare. Assignments frequently include executive search, advertising, and contingent work.
Nathalie is the ‘go to’ recruiter for an impressive list of clients and candidates, with a reputation for finding the right talent for the right role, as well as providing career advice with in-depth market knowledge.

Andrew has more than 25 years’ experience in the legal sector, including more than 17 years in legal recruitment.
Andrew was previously part of the leadership team at one of the UK’s most significant legal recruitment businesses, where he also managed and led the largest and most successful regional team.
He has an extensive track record in advising senior lawyers on strategic career moves, in both private practice and in commerce and industry. He has run a large number of exclusively retained assignments for Heads of Department, Partners and other senior lawyers.
Before specialising in recruitment, Andrew worked for an international employee benefits consultancy in London and then qualified as a Solicitor, working for a number of firms in Bristol, primarily with Osborne Clarke.
Andrew’s interests include football, rugby and cycling.
Alice has worked in the South West and South Wales legal recruitment market for over 14 years.
During this time she has worked in close partnership with a variety of clients from large international and regional offerings to small regional and high street practices.
Alice recruits at all levels across the legal spectrum from NQ solicitors to partners.
Having spent the vast majority of her career at one of the UK’s largest legal recruitment boutiques she is incredibly well connected and highly regarded across her market.
Alice grew up in Devon and has lots of fond memories of living by the sea. Now living in Cheltenham with her young family, Alice loves everything the Cotswolds has to offer and is particularly interested in interior design and house renovations.
Matthew has over 17 years’ experience in specialist legal sector recruitment, specifically in the South West and South Wales legal markets. He’s built a reputation as a trusted advisor to clients and candidates alike.
Over the years Matthew has worked with a broad range of law firms assisting them to recruit lawyers from NQ’s to partners and teams.
Before moving in to legal recruitment Matthew was a Solicitor at Bond Pearce, now Womble Bond Dickinson.
Away from work Matthew’s interests involve all things sport, and most importantly quality time with his young family.
Joe has worked in legal recruitment for over 2 years and joined Motus in 2018. He works on a range of retained executive search projects and helps lawyers to find roles that allow them to achieve their career potential.
Previously Joe worked for a large south west based legal recruitment agency advising and supporting lawyers at all levels with career moves in London and across southern England.
Prior to moving into legal recruitment Joe had a successful year working at a large telecommunications provider as a Business Development Executive.
Joe completed a law degree and completed various work placements as a paralegal.
His outside interests include football, rugby, boxing and an all-round love for sport.
Ellen has over 13 years’ experience of working in-house as a Recruitment Manager for major commercial law firms in the South West.
With her wealth of knowledge of the legal market she is well placed to assist and advise lawyers and law firm business services professionals who are considering career moves.
Throughout her career Ellen has always been passionate about developing Early Careers. In addition to her role at Motus, Ellen works as a Careers Advisor in a local school.
Outside of work, Ellen enjoys spending time with her two boys and dog and exploring the great outdoors.
